Mikasa flatware
"I ordered Mikasa flatware but got towle flatware. I was very disappointed as I was adding to my current set that’s Mikasa. The weight feels different with the towle. If I wanted towle I could have gotten it cheaper on Amazon. However I ordered it on the Mikasa site thinking I’d get exactly what I wanted the satin wave flatware in silver stainless steel, as I currently have by Mikasa. I’m so done!"
Nice looking but won't last
"It is my fault for not looking more closely, but 18/0 is not really stainless steel. It stains and rusts immediately, unlike 18/8 or 18/10. This flatware looks wonderful and feels good, but it's just steel and as such will not last. I am lucky that I bought it from another site and paid much less. If I had paid full price, I would be very upset. Make sure you pay attention to the label... do NOT buy 18/0 flatware if you want it to last. (which unfortunately means do not buy this no matter how good it looks). It seems like Mikasa is making more of the 18/0 over time, so it appears it may be time to start looking at other brands, which is too bad as I've been using it for over a decade."

"Flatware pieces are nicely balanced, good weight, and lovely, graceful design. No problems with cleaning either, product is very well made. I couldn't be more pleased! My only wish is that open stock were available - I would like to have extra spoons for desserts, extra salad forks also."
