"I've had these dishes for a while and I frequently have to contact Mikasa to replace various dishes because the glaze becomes opaque and takes on an iridescent sheen. I don't eat acidic foods , I rinse the dishes prior to loading them in the dishwasher, and I use a national brand detergent so I know I'm not the cause. I love the style but not the workmanship."

"Dish set looks great and compliments our kitchen nicely. The only downside is that the large plates and bowls don't fit in the (Bosch) dishwasher very well so they have to be stacked with an extra measure of care to avoid chips, scratches, or breakage."

"I LOVE THEM. I BOUGHT 3 SETS AND THEY WERE PACKED AND SHIPPED IN PERFECT CONDITION BY MIKASA. I USED TO LOVE FEDEX BUT NOW I DON'T BECAUSE EVERYTIME FEDEX IS SHIPPING SOMETHING TO ME IT IS "ALWAYS DELAYED" THEN IT ALSO DISAPPEARS OFF OF MY FEDEX APP. I WORK FOR ANOTHER SHIPPING COMPANY WHICH IS THE WORST AND I THOUGHT FEDEX WAS THE BEST BUT NOW I THINK THEY ARE JUST AS BAD. MY PACKAGES LEAVE CALIFORNIA AND TAKE MANY MORE DAYS TO ARRIVE TO ME THAN ALWAYS EXPECTED. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH FEDEX."
