"This is a simple elegant pattern that is easily used day and night. Light weight but sturdy."
"Love the timeless beauty of these dishes and how light they are. I have a different set I use for holidays. Highly recommend the dinnerware set for everyday and special occasions."
"There are many things I love about this dinnerware set - the design is beautiful, they can be used in elegant settings or casual, the plates lay flat taking up less space, it comes with two bowl sizes, and best of all - the set includes the small bread and butter plates which are very hard to find in other sets. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. Every one of my plates have deglazed. They look and feel horrible. I'm looking for a replacement set now. So disappointed!"
"The dishes are certainly lovely to look at, and I don't have problems with the glaze separating or turning matte like others have reported (maybe Mikasa has fixed that problem. ) My issue is that the dishes stain, especially after eating fruit. Mostly I eat from the pasta/dinner bowls. When I take them out of the diswasher, they are stained brown, even moreso when I've eaten berries. At first I scrubbed them with soft scrub to clean them after removing them from the diswasher, but my attention deficit overpowered my OCD (and I didn't want to ruin the glaze), so I waited until all twelve were stained and then soaked them in dishwater with bleach. This got them clean (and my fingernails are spotless), but who wants to have to bleach their dishes? This is very strange - I've used a lot of white dishes over the years, and I've never seen them get stained."
"Liked them before, like them even more now that there is a full set."
"Lovely in looks but very poor quality. The plates chip easily, and as other reviewers noted, the dishes are prone to cloudy brown stains and many develop a rainbow-like oil-on-water stain; maybe the glaze is faulty. I have two sets and both are like this."
"Extremely poor quality, i have gone through 2 sets of these and they get ruined immediately. Just have fruit or pasta on them stains them. The finish also separates. I will never purchase again"
"I don't think these are dishwasher safe. We have noticed an uneven glossy finish when captured under light. We do not microwave so it must be the dishwasher heat. Customer service sent some replacements but this continues to happen. Disappointing."
"Like the clean style but the glazing is very thin, resulting in grey mottling and discoloration on the dinner plates. Bought 12, 6 now ruined."
"Stains - the gloss is gone after 4-55 uses"
