"Plates and bowls sit flat for us. We've ordered 2 sets. One set had some broken plates and Mikasa replaced them quickly."
Warning! Know before you buy!
"Every single piece will have a minor imperfection. Nearly all of the plates had dimples. Some had other marks like scratches and dents. I contacted customer service and they asked for pictures which I sent. They responded back with “the majority of the issues you’ve pointed out are not actually defects in craftsmanship, but occasional imperfections that sometimes occur with handmade and glazed products. ” That’s fine if that information is presented upfront. The customer should know what they are getting and not be surprised when opening the box. What’s worse, the return shipping is at my expense. I argued this and still waiting to hear back."
