"I purchased 3 sets of these for entertaining as well as fruit bowls and pasta bowls. It has been two years and I have 3 pasta bowls left. Out of all of the included bowls and additional bowls I purchased only 3 left. I have bought replacements several times but now I quits. We are not rough with them. We do not stack them. In fact while not entertaining we pack them up in the same manner they were packaged. The bowls are fragile. Most broke after being in the dishwasher (top rack). This is so disappointing. I cannot manage the energy to replace them only so they can break again. Mikasa should not be disposable."

Horrible quality
"We bought 2 sets of these dishes at The Hudson Bay Company- With in the first 6 months they discoloured and looked stained, we thought Buying Mikasa and the fact they were bone china would ensure quality but just the opposite. We only use them lightly and now I am embarrassed to put them out for dinner guests they look so bad. I wouldn’t recommend them and makes me worry about Mikasa quality in general."
