"I'd highly recommend these plates. I like the modern casual design (contrary to a different review here, the "dull" ring around the edge is part of the design and clearly visible in the photos), and as stoneware, it's a great combination of durable, reliable, and reasonably priced. The only real complaint I have is that they are very thick, which makes them very difficult to fit in a standard dishwasher. especially if you are cleaning a lot of them. I have had them for a couple weeks of light use now, and have not noticed any substantial chipping or scratches yet, though I will update if that changes. Overall, a good purchase."

"I have the same problem with these plates as the dinner plated. There is a dull ring around the salad plates after they were washed. Would not recommend."
