Elegantly Rustic
"I'd had the same dinnerware for about 25 years. I came back to Mikasa with the thought of buying some replacement pieces for my dwindling Arabella set, but saw this set and was enticed! I am partial to deep blues and browns so this pattern fit the bill. I also have several other unique items in my household with odd patterns and shapes. I'm extremely pleased with this dinnerware, except for the fact that some of the pieces have rather faded, lighter colors. I wish they all had the same, deep colors, but I decided to keep them anyway. I am hoping that some replacement pieces will be available at some point because I broke a bowl already! That is another issue. Due to the shapes and deepness of the designs, they don't fit/nest together as well in the dishwasher as other dishes. If you enjoy unusual, irregular shapes, designs and colors, you won't be disappointed in the Cole dinnerware!"
Beautiful and Unique
"Not only is the pattern lovely, but the shape of the plates and bowls are wonderful! They are not quite symmetrical and they very subtly undulate. Look at a picture of the side view to see what I mean. These are modern and elegant, but have a very organic quality. The heft of the pieces is nice - not ridiculously heavy like some stoneware, but definitely solid (they do not feel cheap). I'm extremely happy with this set."
