"Extremely disappointed!!! I have purchased this same glass before, and the previous ones were noticeably heavier and sturdier. This time, the glass felt much lighter and broke the first time I used it. I simply added iced and it broke immediately. I wasn’t able to use it even once! For such an expensive product, this indicates a serious decline in quality. This item is clearly defective."

"I’ve been using these high ball glasses for years. The last shipment of glasses was so much thinner glass. Already two glasses have shattered. I’m always careful with the glasses and I’m very disappointed. I reached out to Mikasa but was not satisfied with their response."

Decline in quality over last decade
"I used to love Mikasa glasswear. As it always was great quality. I recently bought an 8 piece highball set to add my prior collection and noticed the glass walls were thinner. The base of the glasswear was not as thick and the glasses were wider and harder to hold than previous highball cheers sets they used to make. I am very sad about the decline in quality. Its very unfortunate especially since the prices have gone up over the years."
