"I bought the Trellis 36 pieces + some extra pieces and I am really upset because with the diswasher it lost the shine look, it has a really bad quality, I don’t know what you advertise as dishwasher safe, in my case I bought a lot of pieces and most of them after like months of use looks very bad, usually your products are really good, durable but I am not sure if it this collection but the quality is so poor."

"I purchased Mikasa Trellis Bone China from Amazon. Within 2 months of use the finish on the dishes began to form an iridescent film on them. All pieces have been affected to varying degrees apart from a few pieces that have not been washed often. I used Seventh Generation dishwashing detergent. From the many positive reviews of this china, I assume that there is a defect with the finish. The dishes arrived in the original packaging from Mikasa. I own a set of Mikasa Italian Countryside bone china originally purchased in 2008 with additional pieces purchased more recently. I have washed them with same detergent and on the same dishwasher settings as the Trellis ones. None of the Italian Countryside pieces have developed an iridescent sheen. I was led to believe by a Custer e representative that the affected items would be replaced. After sending requested receipts and photos of affected pieces, I received an email stating that Mikasa china purchased from an outside retailer can only be replaced within 30 days of purchase. If Mikasa will not stand behind the quality of their products, they should not advertise that they are dishwasher safe. I am extremely disappointed in Mikasa. They have lost a customer."
