Iridescent film after first wash
"Was super excited to try this Stanton bone china set from Mikasa because of its clean and modern look but my excitement died pretty fast upon finding most plates coming out of the dishwasher (without even being used) with permanent iridescence markings randomly all over the plates. Some areas became rougher, as though the coating on the plates has come off. I use seventh generation tabs for my DW and own several other bone china sets, Wedgwood, Gorham, Roscher etc. The CS was kind enough to send me a replacement for the damaged dishes but I am afraid to wash anymore in the dishwasher and will have to hand wash them all. I am unsure if anyone else has had this issue, if it was the water or the dish tabs, it would have damaged all the plates but finding 50/50 is just so confusing and disappointing. I will not be using these to serve guests."
