"Over a year ago, I bought 16 place settings of Stanton dinnerware. The quality is poor. After about 10 months or so the glaze came off the dishes and they looked chalky as another review said this morning when I went to use one I noticed it had these horrible tannish brown stains. My guess is the finish wore off. After spending close to $500 I expected a little bit better quality. I use regular cascade dishwashing detergent. I always pre-rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher with just plain water. I cannot believe the finish came off after so little time. I will never buy Mikasa again."
"I purchased the Stanton Dinnerware set, along with some extra plates, about five months ago. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The overall quality is very poor. Two of the plates developed strange stains that won’t come off, even after multiple washes. After going through the dishwasher, the plates often feel oddly textured—feels chalky —and lose their shine, making them look and feel unclean. I own several other dinnerware sets from different brands and have never had issues like this. I expected much better quality for the price and not recommending this set."
