"The knives of this set are getting rust spots after only three weeks of use. As many other reviews point out, the knives are not marked as 18/10 stainless steel. We have not soaked them in water, but have put them in the dishwasher (as Mikasa markets them as dishwasher safe). Completely disappointed."

Spots after drying

"I am very disappointed at the spots that are on the silverware after washing. I read the directions and have been hand washing all of the pieces and letting them air dry. I don't always have the time to hand dry the pieces and don't think I should have to. I never ran into this issue before with my old Oneida set. If it wasn't for having to pack everything in the plastic sleeves and shipping it back I would have returned it."

"I bought this product a week ago - states dishwasher safe, yet less than a week old and a number of items are covered in rust spots. Clearly not good quality nor dishwasher safe as stated."
