"It is a really elegant, great for weddings and nice classy dinners. The decor (the braid accent) is not flat gray it is a pearl gray with silver or may be platinum edges. The saucers are a little shallow but elegant. I try not to wash it in the dishwasher. I am being careful with it. I bought 3 sets for 12 people with 40% off- couldn't be happier. Absolutely love it"
