"I bought my first 16 pc set online from Pottery Barn not realizing it was Mikasa as that info was not in the description. When received them I was so happy I bought another 16 pc from Mikasa at a much better price. I love them. Very simple but elegant looking. Can be used on a daily basis or holiday. I have gone on to buy the "Trellis" pattern mugs, gravy boat, serving bowl and platter as the pattern is very similar. Another reviewer mentioned the bowls having a gritty feel and I did have this problem as well at first but after going through the dishwasher a few times they are fine."
Beautiful set
"The dishes are beautiful but the bowls seem to be gritty on the bottom inside. I’ve hand washed and put them in the dishwasher and the grit will go away but then return. Not sure if it’s just my set or the material? Reaching out to customer service to see."
