"I bought this set about two years ago and the glaze come off after a little while. I have noticed that it happens most often when I use them in the microwave. The culprit cannot be the dishwasher because we have highly treated well water which is very soft and absent of any cadmium or iron. Mikasa has already replaced them several times to no avail. Not sure what to do about it."

While the weren’t exact matches they very close and the difference nearly noticeable. These are classically styled fine bone china plates that are simple and elegant. Perfect for both daily use or special occasions. Very good purchase and will likely add more pieces to our set."
