"The shape of this platter is so much more practical than a round shape. It is sized for a small whole chicken. The finish and color AND WEIGHT (cross between Cor___ and timeless quality fine china) are perfect. It is practical yet lovely. The design allows for nice presentation with deeper "bowl" to catch juices. It is worth buying two-one for veggies, such as Broccoli, and one for meat or even appetizers. Flawless.
