"This dinnerware is the cheapest in quality and customer service , Bought sets through another distributer and I showed proof that the coating on all of their dishes were distorted and rubing off. Knife marks on all plates were visible. Customer service did nothing but ask for pictures and nothing came of it. I will never buy Mikasa ever in my lifetime."
"Never received item and customer service email was useless. I had to stop payment on my card"
"Love these dishes!"
"Poor quality control. Each type of plate is not exactly the same size and they do not stack correctly."
"Very beautiful and clean classic design, I will recommend this set to anybody :)"
"I bought the sets for the style~~clean with just enough design around the edges to set them off. I like the way the plates don’t have the inner ridge and the multiplicity of the pasta bowls. Durability/quality-wise we’ll see as time goes on. The reason for the Mikasa line is that my prior sets have held up well."
"Elegant, durable, lightweight quality!"
"I love this style. It's elegant and simple. It is in style all year and has just enough style to satisfy my taste. It's bone and easy to take care of. It's lightweight and yet durable, of course, I'm not as hard on things as I used to be. But I can serve anything on this dish or in the bowls and feel good about presentation."
"Setting some expectations here; I have another set of Mikasa that are well over 20 years old that were my daily drivers & always washed in the dishwasher that haven't lost their shine/luster. It was only after a couple decades that knife marks started to appear. Plus, I'd lost a few pieces along the way. It was time to replace them. These new settings? They are definitely NOT the quality of my last set. They claim they're "dishwasher safe. " Well, a year on and the finish is dull so that makes them 100% NOT dishwasher safe in my view. Initially I had claims; the black from the maker's marks transferred onto some pieces and others had cracks under the glaze. All things that should have been caught in QC. In hindsight I realize I should have sent everything back right then & there. This was an indication that the quality isn't what it used to be. As mentioned, I'm a year on so I'm outside their "100% guarantee" window. I'm left with pieces that look shabby. I'm not sure they're safe anymore because they could possibly harbor bacteria in the deteriorating glaze. Saying "I'm disappointed" would be an understatement. I'm pretty angry about it. If I could leave zero stars? I would."
