Disappointed After 6 Mos-Not Quality I Expected
"I really wanted to love this dinnerware set in Jet Set Blue, but after just six months of regular use, I’m pretty disappointed. The plates, bowls, and cups are already visibly marred, showing wear far sooner than they should. Even worse, they do not stack evenly, which is both inconvenient and a sign that the pieces haven’t held their shape or finish over time. What makes this even more frustrating is that the additional Jet Set Red salad plates I purchased separately are perfectly fine—no marks, no warping, no stacking issues. That tells me the problem isn’t with the overall product line, but specifically with the quality of the Jet Set Blue set I received. For the price ($306. 39), I expected a level of durability and consistency that simply isn’t here. This is not the quality I thought I was paying for, and I can’t recommend the Jet Set Blue set based on my experience. Purchased from SP Mikasa Mikasa. com NY on June 28, 2025."

Unlike my other Mikasa porcelain
"Unlike my other Mikasa porcelain sets, these plates are really heavy and thick. Unfortunately I purchased 4 boxes (16 plaza settings), and I'm stuck with them because returning will just cost too much. I asked Mikasa if they could do courtesy prepaid return shipping, to which they adamantly refused. That's disappointing because we've been lifelong Mikasa customers. I would not recommend this set."
Dinner plates are larger than
"Dinner plates are larger than our previous set and don't fit on the bottom shelf of our cabinets. In addition, several of the dinner dishes appear to be seconds as they are not even all around the rim but vary side to side more than a quarter of an inch. The overall quality of the set is not as good as our previous Mikasa product."

"Very heavy and thick, not the Mikasa quality we were expecting. On top of that, return shipping is very expensive, so we are stuck with a product we do not like, very disappointed"

"I love the look of this china pattern. I just had a major kitchen addition renovation completed. The cabinets are indigo on the base and pantry and dove white on top. These dishes perfectly complement my new kitchen."
