"I purchased a pair of Mikasa JADE mugs. Enamoured by these mugs for months, which is to say they weren't an impulse buy. The pair arrived in perfect unharmed condition packaged in what must have been 12 feet of bubble wrap. The exterior is a beautiful, smooth, mirror finish, while the interior is dissapointingly muted and dull (big let down for me). Love the 12 oz capacity. Wonderful attribute is I was able to reheat a cup of coffee in the microwave resulting in only the body getting hot and not the handle! The rim is on the thicker side but acceptable. Handles are both ergonomical and visually pleasing. I would have given this mug 5 stars if it wasnt' for the fact that they THEY TIP OVER VERY EASILY!"
