"Recieved factory mess ups. Not even close to picture in ad. Now they want me to pay for shipping messed up items that should have never made ut out of the factory they are so bad. Top is normal design with random colorful cells, bottom is what I recieved with no design/cells, it looks dirty and moldy. Not as advertised and not a minor difference."

"I am submitting this review as an overall review for my Jade dinnerware set. I ordered two 20 piece sets. I received my order in 7 to 10 days as promised and everything was packed tight and not damaged. The dishes are lovely; seem sturdy and I love the bowls as they are great for ceral; soup or pasta. However; five dishes had very noticeable defective glaze/paint where the glaze was bumpy which could chip off or the paint seemed to be missing and was galzed over. Mikasa sent replacements straight away however I did not receive all of the correct replacements pieces. Going back and forth is tiresome and time consuming for me so I will live with two flawed dishes."

"I am very happy with the deep, rich colors of the Jade Stoneware. Very glad that it includes the small “appetizer” plates; which are also useful as saucers for the mugs, with room for a couple cookies beside. We ordered the smaller fruit bowls too, which are useful for sauces, snacks, prep bowls, etc. These smaller pieces really round out the functionality of the set, so that no matter what meal, or food being served, everything matches beautifully."

Nice looking, but weak
"This is a beautiful set and we have enjoyed it. However, it is not very durable. In the 4. 5 years we've had it, we have broken so many pieces and bought replacement plates, cups, bowls, here and elsewhere. This stoneware will break or chip with the slightest impact. We are just two grown up people and we treat our dinner ware with normal care. Now I have a dinner plate that is cracking and a coffee mug with the edge crumbling. The finishes are all very dull as well. Plus, when I bought the set in the beginning, the bases were so rough and spurred that I had to polish them with a ceramic file before I could let them on my table or counter. This is not what I think of when I am buying stoneware. It should be more durable. In contrast, my "everyday" Mikasa china is still going strong after 25 years."

"The Jade set is beautiful. The color is rich and it's set off perfectly by the black! Shipping was quick and every piece arrived whole! The bowls are larger than I expected, but I am enjoying their unique shape!"

"Beautiful high quality set. Deep rich colors. Seem to be very sturdy. Haven't had them long enough to see if will be chip resistant long term but so far so good! I also got the serving bowls in addition to the 60 piece set. They are a tad heavier than I anticipated but love them too! All in all great purchase!!"
