"Been using Mikasa for over 30 years and wouldn’t consider any other brand"
"These arrived with one badly broken bowl. Mikasa was very easy to work with and my replacement is on the way with almost no inconvenience to me. 2 emails and a photo. While I’d rather them have been in good shape, Mikasa’s customer service is exceptional."
"Great size bowls I am sure I will use them often."
"The glaze has holes and the pattern is hardly visible around the top because the pottery is thick. Not the quality Mikasa used to be."
"I purchased these stacking bowls to add to my Italian Countryside collection. These stacking bowls are poor quality- They chip easily, BREAK easily, get cracks in the glaze after the first wash (in dishwasher) and are not made from the same "clay" as my original set. The scroll detail design around the outside of the rim, which is *The Italian Countryside* design, doesnt look the same as the original dishware. Checking the manufacturing info on the bottom- these stacking bowls are made in China. My original, high quality dishes that I love were made (in 2004) in Malaysia. These stacking bowls, which I bought to use to prep food and to reserve my dinnerware for dinner, now sit on the shelf because I am afraid to use them, lest they break, and I am using my dinnerware as prep-ware when preparing dinner. DON"T BUY THESE. I might get the melamine ones to use when I am prepping and cooking dinner so that I have something to serve dinner on, without having to wash a bunch of bowls."
"Beautiful set. Very versatile to use with many different table settings."
"Sad to say, very disappointed. Lightweight, several blemishes in the glaze, lovely pattern around the permieter is muddled and indistinct. I first purchased Italian Countryside dinnerware 20-ish years ago. This bowl set is not the same quality - made in China. I will be returning them and won't risk purchasing any further additions to my collection."
"Great bowls, substantial weight. 3 stars because rim of the bottom of the bowl (underside) has a rough finish - no glaze. When nested, the rough bottom rim touches the inside finish of the bowl it nexts in. I am guessing that over time, the insides of these nesting bowls will be quite scratched."
"Loved the stackable concept, but the quality is horrible. The bottom ring on unfinished so if it sits in water the bowl stains. Same Prob with the 4-set cereal bowls. Very disappointing"
