It's very beautiful, thank you.

Nice casual dining place settings.

"Nice casual dining place settings. A little heavier than we expected. And we would have preferred the option of mugs rather than tea cups. Delivery was prompt and well-packaged. Everything arrived intact."

I have had a certain

"I have had a certain style of Mikasa “Italian Country Side” for years. Ordered more dish of the same style. They came and they are of low quality compared to what I already own. It will cost me almost as much as what I paid for them to return them. I will not be using them. I have had several compliments on the ones I currently own. The new ones would be an embarrassment to have on my table."

When you have them in your hands you will be very happy

"I bought a set for dinner and if I regret something it's that I didn't buy two instead of one. I just want a set to be used everyday but believe you don't even want to used but for special occasions."

Not the same as our existing pieces

"My wife had this pattern when we got married. Over time some pieces had become damaged so we decided to buy new sets and accessories to add on to our existing pieces. It's a good thing we bought a lot because it is completely different from our existing pieces. We are simply setting our old pieces aside for company and will use the new for daily use. Everything about it is cheaper and it's a shame. Unfortunately it is far to expensive to return."

What a shame

"I started out with a set for 8 about 35 yrs ago and over the years I have added as needed. Great quality. Not anymore. Quality of design especially around the edges is deplorable. I have no idea why companies decide to go cheap from China and ruin their customer base. I will be looking for a quality set next time I need dishes and it WILL NOT be Mikasa. They have given up on quality and they will pay the price."

Beautiful table

"Italian countryside Serbs a beautiful table. The color works with so many other colors and patterns. These are My favorite dishes of all times."

"Thought the dishes would be more white then they are but they came in in great condition. Have used Mikasa dinnerware for 30+ years."

"My mother purchased a full set for me over 25 years ago. I have loved it! Of course I use the dinner plates and bread and butter plates the most. Don’t put them in the dishwasher. The middle parts of the plates seem to dull and give off a somewhat gray tone. But I have gotten my use out of them. So I ordered a 16 piece set to start with. I am so disappointed. The beautiful pattern around the edges is so subdued. It’s not as crisp as the 25 year old set! Can you believe that after that long the quality has gone DOWN? That’s not all. The fluted edges don’t go all the way to the inner edge of the plates and it’s not as deep. Geez. So when I checked this website, I noticed they even show the watered down artistry of the same pattern from over 25 years ago. So they’re not hiding it. If you’ve never seen the old original pattern; I would love for you to see it. If only I could post a picture"

Classic style

"I purchased this set to replace some broken pieces. I got my first set almost 25 years ago and use them every day. So happy that mikasa still carries the classic Italian countryside style."
