"I do not like item. Too bulky, handle small not comfortable to keep in hands. So I decided to return to Mikasa . Well, I need to pay for return. I checked price I USPS - $90. 00 chipper way . Checked UPS $50. 00. Still to much to pay for item cost $61. 00. I do not buy from Mikasa anymore. I hate my mugs and cannot see them again. I better break them . So, if you buy anything from Mikasa you be sure you know what you buy, because you will stock as I am from NY"

"My job for 20 years was being the administrator of a computerized bridal registry system for Mercantile stores (now sold). Every vendor gave us clinics on their products and new items. I own a lot of good brands of great crystal but my everyday dinnerware I bought at that time was less expensive and needed replacing. I remembered how much I always liked Mikasa products, how so many brides registered for Mikasa and how much of it we sold in our three states. Our best seller was French Countryside dinnerware and reading recent reviews, the standards were just as high as they were in the 80's and 90's. That says at lot! So I ordered and received a 40pc set from a department store. I personally prefer mugs to cups and saucers, however those sets were out of stock. So I went directly to Mikasa online and ordered just one 4pc set of mugs for myself. I absolutely LOVE them! You can never go wrong with Mikasa dinnerware and French Countryside never goes out of style."
