"Shipment is either delayed or lost and customer service has been extremely unhelpful in following up with shipper or sending a replacement. At this point I’m out several hundred dollars for the full order without my items a month after they were supposed to arrive with no solution being offered and kind of feel like I’ve been robbed. 0/10."
Not the same! Very disappointed
"I have had my French Countryside set since 1991 with a few replacements couple years back. The replacements I received for Christmas were not same quality, color or weight of my ones made in Japan. The ones made in China are not the same quality. Can not even feel the decorative lines on rim of bowl."

They don't match the old French Countryside plates
"The French Countryside plates that they sell as of 12/1/25 are nice, but they do not match the ones that they previously sold. The newer ones are thicker, courser, and less intricate. They are probably fine for starting a new collection, but they will not match an older collection."

"The weight and size of these dinner plates is totally different from the original full set I ordered several years ago from Mikasa. :(. I was ordering a few plates as replacements for pieces that had cracked but sadly these are different in weight and size."

"I am so disappointed with the quality of the plate I ordered as a replacement of one that was broken. I bought my 12 piece place setting of French Countryside in 1980. Those plates, cups and bowls were made in Japan and the craftsmanship was exceptional. The plate I received was made in china, and there was no craftsmanship in the making of this product. Is this even the same company? I will never buy another product from you again. So sad."
