Lovely but streaks in the finish with use
"I love the shape and weight of the Delray dishes. The quality is good but not great, though. There are mild streaks developing in the finish on my other dishes. They aren’t glaringly awful, but they are there and noticeable in the right light."
Glazing problem
"I love these dishes, but within a few months, the dinner plates had lost their glazing and were dull. Mikasa was difficult to deal with for what is a known issue with this pattern. I had to send pictures of each individual plate for them to replace them. When I contacted them a few months later to say the rest of the set had the same issue they asked me to send pictures again … which would be 32 of them! When I told them I was disappointed in their customer service, they said they would give me 30% off of dishes on their website which comes nowhere near replacing this set. I am very disappointed."

"Elegant in every way. I bought one plate as a sample but ultimately decided on a coup style and did not buy the whole set. If there had been a coup version of Delray, I would have bought it."
discoloration in glaze - do not buy
"I have this set in use less than a year (not even daily) and all my dinner plates and salad plates have discoloration and what looks like etching. Something is not right with the glaze as I see lot of other users having the same issue. It looks so bad that they are unusable. Please do not buy this. This is not worth the money. I like the look but the quality is beyond the Mikasa brand. The bowls are not affected."
Different depths of plates.
"I ordered the 8 place setting from Amazon and received it. All the plates were uniform except for one which was flatter than the others. I wanted 12 plates so I ordered 4 more from your website. I received them and they are more contoured than the others I have. You only notice it when they are stacked with the others in my cabinet. We find this strange."
Do NOT buy Mikasa
"I bought the Delray dinnerware sets (3 four place setting sets) for my son as a wedding gift four months ago. Last night, he placed a grilled steak on one of the plates and it cracked in half. Clearly there was a flaw in the china for this to happen. Called Mikasa customer service and they told me "too bad, we only warranty our products for 30 days". WHAT? Then I was told I could buy a replacement plate for $12.99 and $9.95 shipping charges. That is ridiculous, especially for what I paid for it originally. I will NEVER buy a Mikasa product again. I thought they were a good company with good quality products. Turns out neither is true. Stay clear from this brand."
