"Unfortunately as soon as I recieved them the rim chipped immediately, they are so fragile, no matter how gentle you use them. I waited to buy crystal until my kids grew up and moved out. Now im dissapointed that I spent that much for such fragile merchandise. I have two of the four glasses with chipped rims. I bought the whiskey glasses, highball, stemless martini glasses and 8 stemless wineglasses. Two whisky glasses are damaged and I dropped a light plastic lid on the edge of a martini glass and it completely shattered."

New ones are easily breakable though

"Great looking and nice to use. HOWEVER, as others have commented the glasses are more fragile than they used to be. It does seem like they have thinner glass. We still have old ones, but have broken several in a new set. Since they make it cheaper, they should replace at least one glass per set."

Used to be great, now cheap garbage

"I purchased a set of these almost 20 years ago. They are great. Wanted to add to my collection for when I have guests over so I purchased another set. When they arricved I was instantly dissapointed. The new glasses are much thinner, lighter, feel cheaper, and the etchings arew barely noticable. Especially compared to the older ones. This company went from premium and impressive to cheap garbage. Sad. Look elsewhere."

I have several sets of

"I have several sets of these double old fashion glasses. I have really enjoyed them and added a couple more sets recently. Unfortunately they arrived broken. However, the customer service was excellent and Mikasa very quickly replaced the sets. I recommend these glasses, but they are pretty heavy and don’t fit very well in a small hand."
