"I ordered this dinnerware set and also serving pieces. 6 dinner and 1 salad plate had purple marks on them. I requested replacements, and after being promised that the replacement dishes would be inspected, I received plates that had the same problem. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Pleas advise. "The bowls and small plates are pretty and look artisanal as intended. The large plates are covered in pock marks: Mikasa said this is intentional and part of the design. It will cost at least $30 to mail one boxed set back to them. I suggest checking the design in person before buying online."

"The Barrett Green Dinnerware set was a great purchase for me. The plates verge more toward the Teal color which I like. They have a nice weight, not too heavy. The plates are a good size. The bowl is more deep than wide rather than being shallow and wide like some dinnerware sets. I can see them being used outside as well as at a formal table."
