Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect dinner salad bowls These are perfect for salads! They're the perfect size for a nice dinner-sized salad and can contain all of the ingredients easily. The large bowl works nicely as the main salad bowl for the whole family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for large salads, not just pasta Very nice set. I use them for large salads. So far no issues with chipping or crazing. This is a classic pattern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional You will find many more uses for these lovely bowls than simply for pasta! The possibilities are endless!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love and hate this set I have this set, and every single piece is broken, chipped and/or cracked. This happened within a year of purchase. I actually came to the Mikasa website to see if they might have improved the product. I love the design, and size- perfect for pasta dishes, and other sloppy one dish meals, salads, etc. where a plate just doesn't do it. I am so disappointed to not see any mention of change. Maybe Mikasa is unaware?:-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality not up to par with the rest of this nice pattern I was very disappointed with this pasta set. The first time I used it one of the bowls cracked in the dishwasher. Today, just sitting on my shelf, it just broke in half. The weight of this does not even feel as durable as the rest of the many pieces I have in this pattern. The serving bowl is larger that any of the other serving pieces I own and is difficult to store. I really wanted to like this, as we eat pasta often, but I hesitate to even use it because I am worried about breakage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large base for stirring. This is my favorite pasta bowl. The size and shape is perfect for stirring the pasta to prevent sticking and it looks fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional addition to my Italian Countryside! I had been wanting to purchase a pasta bowl set for a long time. After considering many attractive patterned sets at various retail stores, I decided to "play it safe" and add to my growing "Italian Countryside" collection of dinnerware. I am so glad I did! The set is simply beautiful! Many of the patterned sets on the market are cute and fun. But, in my opinion, there are not many that compare favorably to the beauty and quality of these bowls. In a few short weeks I've used them to serve pasta, salads, and meal-sized soup dishes. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from small dishes nice, large bowl too big I wish you could buy the 4 small dishes separately... I just wanted those. They are very nice. The large bowl is way to large to fit in an average kitchen cabinet and unless you have a family of 8 you will not realistically be able to fill it with pasta.
