Sonar-Dana

Jaggery pepper syrup recipe:

  • 2 cups of powdered or whole Jaggery (raw brown sugar made of sugar cane juice from India)
  • ½ cup of whole black pepper
  • 3 cup of water

  • Simmer it for 15 minute. If the syrup is still thick add ½ cup of more water and simmer it again for 5 minutes. Syrup is ready.

Recipe per Drink:

  • 1 + ½ ounce Gin
  • ½ ounce Goldschlagger cinnamon
  • 1 + ½ ounces pomegranate juice
  • ½ ounce jaggery pepper syrup
  • ¼ ounce lemon juice

  • Shake and Pour.
